Pate aux Pommes de Terre
A French specialty. Flavorful potatoes encapsulated in pastry.

Ingredients
- 1.5kg Agria Potato
- 2 Puff pastry ring of 26cm diameter
- 1 Egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Onion
- 10g Fresh thyme
- 250g Sour cream
Method
- Peel the potato and slice it 2mm thick
- Place the potato into a bowl, and season it with salt and pepper
- Mix and keep for 15 minutes
- Remove the potato from the water
- Add chopped onion, garlic and thyme in the potato
- Place the potato in the middle of the puff pastry ring
- Cover it with another puff pastry ring
- Brush the pipe with egg wash and make a design with a small knife
- Cook at 170° for 1 hour
- With the knife, cut the lid of the dough
- Add sour cream and mix with the potato
- Serve it hot
