About the Product
This product is originally from Parma, Italy, and each piece is 250g. This cheese has also been aged for 15-18 months. The Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano-Reggiano reserved the name "Parmigiano Reggiano" and "Parmesan", and indicated that it can be made only in the provinces of Modena, Parma, Reggio Emilia-Romagna and Mantova in Lombardia. It also specified that for the cows whose milk is used in the production of the cheese should eat only fresh grass, hay, or alfalfa.
This cheese should taste fruity, with sweetness similar to that of a pineapple, rich and fresh, however, not overwhelmingly salty.
How to Enjoy
Parmigiano Reggiano can be eaten individually in pieces, however, it is one of the most diverse cheeses in the world for cooking. When cooked, it reveals a tangy and fruity flavor, which goes perfectly with a wide variety of savoury dishes.
